Thank You

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked “Are you a family girl?” At first the question used to throw me off, because I thought, how can’t everyone be? Then as I grew up I realized just how blessed I actually was. I have never once had to question my family’s love or support of me. I have always had one family member or another at EVERY SINGLE show I’ve played. I can’t tell you one show I played that someone wasn’t there. Between my parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, SISTER, cousins; I couldn’t tell you who actually is my biggest fan. I can honestly say I would not be where I am today without the support of my family…

AND FRIENDS! Let’s not forget all the people I actually CHOOSE to surround myself with. Y’all put up with some actual craziness, and I love you so much and am so incredibly grateful for it all! I can name names but I really don’t want to miss anyone, but to every single friend who has stepped into my life and touched my heart, thank you. You might think I didn’t notice all your patience you had when dealing with a crazy artist who hadn’t yet learned how to channel her emotions into a song, or those of you now who help me through every stressed out breakdown, but I did and do notice. Friends come and go, that’s true, but I will never forget you.

I write, I sing, I am who I am because of each and every one of you who shaped me into the girl I am today.

And I am so excited to meet all kinds of new friends on this journey! So thank you all for joining me on this wonderfully exciting (and nerve wracking) ride!
